North Michigan Avenue

This morning, while driving back to Skokie from a client meeting downtown, I took the scenic route up Michigan Avenue till it hit Lake Shore Drive.

With the wind in my hair, the city on the left, and the lake on the right, I felt so very at home that I almost forgot that its actually 650 miles away.

Mike,

This is Herkimer. Your HOME. Knock it off you cheater. I though we had something... something great. Now, now I just don't know what to think anymore. Right is left, up is down, the Spin Doctors are on the radio... I feel so vulnerable. I mean it's bad enough that I had to share you with Deerfield... but this, (tear) this is so horrible. We've never been so far apart for so long. I can hardly take it.....

Always and Forever Yours,

Herkimer

To the town it may concern:

Herkimer may be the lovable and homely town that I "grew up" in, but Chicago is turning out not to be the NYC copycat like I originally thought it'd be.

Chicago has a personality that is unmatched, and Herkimer, I'm sorry, but you never take me out anymore.

Love,

Mike
